The artist will start working at the time stated and leave at the time stated. The artist will allow time for setting up and packing away.

Cancellations due to lockdowns will be rescheduled or credited to future bookings within 12 months of your party date at no additional cost.

No refunds will be issued for outdoor events affected by weather. An alternative indoor venue should be arranged by the Client.

Once a booking has been confirmed by Create Happy Ltd, this will form the contract. Confirmation could be done via email, text or social media.

Requirements & Working Conditions

Our artists come fully equipped with supplies and set ups.

Artists require a minimum space of 1.5m x 1.5m and adequate lighting while working.

For outdoor events, the Client must provide a suitable covered area. In extreme weather conditions (wind, rain or heat), the Artist may need to cease services and no refund will be issued. An alternative indoor location should be arranged as a backup plan.

Please ensure parking is available as close to the site as possible, or in the driveway, so the Artist can unload heavy equipment. Parking fees, if applicable, will be added to your bill. For permit located areas, please arrange for a car parking space for the Artist.

The Artist’s supplies may not be handled by guests at an event. The Client agrees to pay for accidents, injuries or damage to the Artist’s equipment/ supplies caused by the Client, Client’s guests and/ or pets.

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Create Happy Ltd is not responsible for the safety or behaviour of guests at an event.

For high volume events, a volunteer Line Manager must be provided by the Client to keep the line flowing and to enable the Artist to provide a service at maximum speed.

Line manager duties can include:

  • Helping the child next in line choose their design before they get into the chair
  • Managing everyone’s place in the line
  • Closing the line at the Artist’s discretion to ensure the Artist can service those already waiting in line, before packing up.

Health & Safety

Although we use skin safe, cosmetic grade products, we cannot be held liable for any allergic reactions to the product used. It is the guardian’s responsibility to notify us if their child has any allergies or sensitive skin BEFORE sitting in the chair.

The products the Artist uses are not designed for under 3 years of age. Services engaged in, under this age, are entirely at the guardians risk and at the Artist’s discretion.

We will not paint any child that does not consent to our services or is not able to sit relatively still, for their own security. Please do not force your child to receive our service if they are in distress as the experience should be enjoyable for all.

For sanitary and safety reasons, we will not paint anyone who appears to be sick or is suffering from any infectious/ visible skin conditions, such as (but not limited to); cold sores or conjunctivitis, runny nose/ temperature/ rash, eczema, acne or open/ infected wounds. In these cases, an arm design may be offered.

All paint products are washable by lathering mild soap on the skin, then rinsing with water. Glitter tattoos can be removed by rubbing with oil based products such as baby oil.

We take great care but will not be responsible for damage to clothing or property. If clothing comes into contact with our paints, treat with a stain remover and wash in cold water, as hot water may set stains.

The Artist reserves the right to refuse to paint/ twist any subject they deem offensive.

The Artist reserves the right to cease services and leave without refund, should extreme working conditions arise where the host has not taken suitable action to remedy this situation. Such situations include; extreme inappropriate or violent behaviour of a child/ parent/ pet, illegal activities or otherwise dangerous conditions.
