Important to know

Please read our official Terms & Conditions before making a booking.

We are happy to change the date for your booking if needed. We just need at least 7 days notice prior to the event date.

Any last minute changes within this time frame will incur another booking fee, but any other previous payments made towards your booking will be transferred.

For outdoors events, we suggest an alternative indoor location to be arranged as no refunds will be given for events affected by weather.

We don’t share our phone number for general inquiries as we find it most helpful to have a digital trail of information in case any queries come up later in the booking process.

Once you have secured your booking, a contact phone number will be provided to you. We apologize for any inconvenience caused, but we assure you that we respond to our request forms and email very regularly.

While we are passionate about creating fun, we follow a strict hygiene routine:

  • We clean and sanitize our equipment regularly.
  • We only use professional quality products that are safe for the skin.
  • We use a fresh sponge per child.
  • We avoid painting on the nose or lips where possible, it use a disposable applicator.
  • We avoid painting children who show signs of sickness.
  • We change our water regularly.

When it comes to face painting, we have many brands in our kit that are typically either wax or glycerine based that are activated by water. The face paint feels cold when applied but contrary to cheap, low quality face paint, it doesn’t feel heavy or cracked but instead hardly feels like there is any paint on your face at all!

They are brought from professional face paint suppliers worldwide like Bodyfx and FacepaintsNZ (NZ), Jestpaint (America) and The Facepainting Store (Australia). They are the same brands that are used in stage makeup around the world and are cosemetic grade and hypoallergenic. Brands include: Tag, Superstar, Mehron Paradise, Bodyfx, Facepaints Australia, Fusion, Diamondfx, and more. Ingredient lists can be found by googling their brand names.

For twisting, our balloons are made of biodegradable natural latex. Brands include Qualatex and Sempertex.

If you plan on booking a bouncy castle alongside our face painting service, we recommend you ask your bouncy castle company if they allow face painted children on their castles. If they don’t allow face paints, we advise that you book our balloon twisting or glitter tattoo service instead.

We are aware that there are a few colours from specific brands of professional face paints that can be more difficult to remove than others, therfore, please inform us if you intend to hire a castle and we can remove certain colours from our kit.

Our artists come with a full set up so you can focus your energy on all the other things that need organizing when it comes to the event day! We only require shelter from the elements if our artists are outside.

We understand there can be unexpected numbers of guests on the day of the event. Additional time may be requested which is dependent on the artists availability that day. Additional time will be billed at $50 per half hour and must be paid before the artist leaves.

We can comfortably service approximately 12 guests per hour. When it comes to face painting, the time it takes to paint a face is based on the detail of the design, not necessarily on the size of the design. Our numbers are based on servicing guests one after the other. We cannot guarantee everyone will recieve our service if they are engaged in other activities on the day.

While we are happy to work with charities and schools, unfortunately we are not able to donate our time, skill, travel and supplies for free. Instead, we suggest the following options for charity events:

OPTION 1: Sponsorship & Pay Per Person
The best way to raise money for your charity.

How it works: we charge our standard hourly rates for the time that we are at your event and the costs are covered by your sponsors. Your sponsors can get extra publicity from this. You then charge people at your event to recieve our service and keep all the money that is collected. Alternatively, you may just ask for donations to make our service more popular as all money collected will help your charity/ school.

OPTION 2: Sponsorship & Free to the Public
The best way to attract people to your event.

How it works: We charge our standard hourly rates for the time that we are at your event and the costs are covered by your sponsors. Your sponsors can get extra publicity and you can provide our free service to draw people to your event. This can be very popular- to avoid large queues and long waiting times, we suggest hiring our team of multiple artists. You should budget for 12 people to be serviced per hour, per artist.

OPTION 3: Pay Per Person
People at your event pay for our service and you receive all the money that is collected.

How it works: We charge our standard hourly rates for the time that we are at your event. You then charge people at your event (we recommend around $5 per face, but it is your choice). We can collect the money for you and you then recieve all the money collected. A well organized event can easily cover the costs and raise plenty of money for your school or charity.

OPTION 4: Our Competitions
Keep an eye out for our local charity/ school compactions, which we run bi-annually, to be nominated for a free service of ours for 2 hours.

When these competitions are running, encourage everyone to nominate your school or charity as more votes equal a higher chance of winning.

Removal & Care

  • Use warm water and a little bit of mild soap to create a lather.
  • Wipe away with a damp cloth to avoid getting it in the eyes.
  • Wet wipes should be avoided as they can encourage staining. Some colours may leave slight stains due to their strong pigment, but this will come off with baby/ coconut oil or micellar water.
  • It is best to wash face paint off before bed as it can stain bedding and cause skin irritation.
  • To prolong their life, wash with gentle soap and pat dry.
  • Do not rub.
  • To remove, use an oil based product like baby or coconut oil.
  • Remove with warm water or an oil based product such as baby oil.
  • It is reusable, just add a dab of body adhesive to the backing.
